- Repetitive Control Based Linear Servo Unit (PhD research project)
- Supported by National Science Foundation of China, From 1995 to 1998
- Design new kind of linear servo unit with large power, small size, high response frequency and long strike for previous project. The servo unit can also be used as a precision linear actuator.
- Research and design DSP based computer control system.
- Research on repetitive control, learning control and nonlinear learning control to increase servo system precision.

- Research on so called Extracted CNC System and used in previous project.

Assemble TH3--80 linear Motor by myself. A special and simple fixture designed by me is used to assemble powerful NdFeB magnets of the actuator. 1996.

CNC Self-copying Machining is different from traditional CNC Copying Machining. When it is used for polishing, the head can self-tracked and the polishing force can be kept in constant. The most important component for self-copying machining is the 'head'. The 'head' has the ability to measure three dimensional forces and polish at high speed. The polishing forces guide the head to move or to track. - CNC Drilling and Slotting Machine

CNC Drilling machine is used for manufacturing the holes of heat exchanger component (See next image). Some component has more than 2500 holes on it.
CNC Slotting machine is used for manufacturing the complicated surface of rotators( See next image). Both parts are difficult to manufacture by manual control.
Research on 3-D economical CNC system for both, interfaces and related control software.
Research on mechanical system and production processing and plan
Computer control system .
- A Plate Component used for heat exchanger with many small holes on it. It is difficult to machine by a general drilling machine.
- Rotator Part used for a special chemical pump. Its surface is irregular. The best way to machine it is to use a CNC Slotting Machine. The Figure shows the section of the part.
- Intelligent Human-Like Robot and its Control System
- Supported by Henan Planning & Economic Committee, From 1993 to 1995
- This human-like robot was researched for Henan International Exhibition Center. The robot can identify limited languages and gives response, oral language or actions, to the instructions.
- Research on mechanical structure, sensor and language system
- Control algorithm and path programming
- Control and driving system.
The robot consists of 16 actuators and has the language ability. Prof. Li xingshen(left) is the director of the Mechatronics Research Institute and is one of my best colleagues in Zhengzhou University of Technology. - Economical CNC Tuning System
